Source text · highlightedOn November 11, 1995, Doris Bean, age 81, and her sister Loretta Allen, age 76, were killed in their home at 163 Central Street in Hudson, NH during a burglary of the home. The perpetrators wore masks during the home invasion. Doris and Loretta were both severely beaten. In addition, Doris was stabbed during the attack. Although Charles Dorval, Jr. was convicted of first degree murder for killing Loretta Allen, it is believed that Dorval did not act alone and that someone else killed Doris Bean.
