Source text · highlightedWoods and two friends were approached by at least three juvenile suspects as they walked into a Maplewood liquor store at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2014. The suspects became upset when Woods and his friends refused to buy them alcohol. When Woods and his friends left the liquor store, the suspects opened fire from a car. Woods later died at a hospital. A friend was shot but survived.
