On January 21, 2013 at approximately 1206 hours, several 911 calls were received by the Cocoa Police Department reference to shots fired. Officers responded to the scene and discovered an elderly black female was laying on the ground in front of Apartment 24 and was suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. The second victim was identified as Lydia Yvonne Bradford and she appeared to have been shot in the head. The suspect is described as medium build black male with a short “fade” haircut and dark clothing. The suspect was last seen running east bound from the scene towards Cambridge Elementary School.
