Source text · highlightedOn December 10, 2003 eighteen year old Nicholas David Tonic was reported missing by his mother. During that same day Mr. Tonic’s vehicle was recovered abandoned in the 8100 block of Fruitful Court, Millersville, Maryland. The interior of the vehicle displayed evidence of a violent crime. Mr. Tonic had last been seen at his residence on December 5, 2003 in the 1700 block of Sea Pine Circle, Severn, Maryland. On January 23, 2004 at approximately 9:30 a.m., a body was discovered on the side of the road in the 7500 block of Teague Road, Hanover, Maryland. Through dental records the recovered remains were identified as Mr. Tonic. Mr. Tonic suffered trauma to the upper body with the manner being homicide.
