Source text · highlightedOn the morning of August 23, 1977, members of the Denver Police Department were alerted to a body found within the parking lot near the intersection of West 12th Avenue and Acoma Street.
During the course of the investigation the body was identified as 62 year old Edward Sheridan, who had been stabbed to death by an unknown assailant(s) during a street robbery. Mr. Sheridan was known to frequent a local liquor store near the location he was murdered.
