Source text · highlightedOn July 20, 1985, Ralph Ramirez had been visiting friends who lived in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. During the course of the evening Ralph was involved in a confrontation with two individuals on Mariposa Street. One of these individuals was armed with a knife and stabbed Ralph. The two men fled on foot before authorities could arrive. Ralph was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries.
Ralph was known for having a big heart as he was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), working with elderly and disabled populations.
