Source text · highlightedOn October 24, 2008, officers responded to the 800 block of 31st Street on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers found 21 year old Jimmia Reed suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck. She was struck when an unknown party fired into a crowd. Jimmia was transported to the local hospital where she died of her injuries.
