Source text · highlightedOn March 26, 2014, Jacqueline Amber Jones was found dead as a home in Monte Vista. The boyfriend reports that she hung herself. Upon police arrival the victim was found on the floor, not hanging. The witness reports the victim hung herself with an extension cord from the closet door.
Outside experts were hired to review the available evidence. Upon completion of that review the coroner modified the cause and manner of death to undetermined instead of suicide.
