Source text · highlightedDena Anderson was reported missing on November 27, 1996 after she failed to return to her home in Elk River. She was married with three young children at the time. Anderson was with a boyfriend, Curtis Prader, at the Lake Pine Motel in Big Lake earlier that day. Anderson was seen at the Broadway Bar and Pizza in Elk River around 11 p.m. that day. Her car was found the next day still parked at the Broadway Bar parking lot. Anderson's clothed body was found May 18, 1997 in rural Pine County near Highway 61, a few miles north of Pine City and approximately 45 miles from Elk River.
