Source text · highlightedNovember 6, 2006 06-19682 Palmetto Police Homicide 802 1st Av Dr E 5 Josely Bell Monday, November 6, 2006, approximately 11: 11 pm an unknown person shot and killed the victim, Josely Bell, in an apparent robbery attempt. The victim was found sitting in the driver’s seat, slumped over into the passenger seat of the car he was driving. The victim had a gunshot wound to his upper chest. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Palmetto Trace in front of building 802 1st Avenue Drive East, Palmetto. Suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’9”, medium build, wearing a yellow jacket. The Bell’s two children, ages 4 and 3, were in the vehicle when he was shot and killed.
