Monday, August 14th 2000 Reginald Bing Case 00-27668 Bing was driving on 58th Ave. Drive East in Bradenton. As he approached a stop sign at 7th Avenue East, a light blue mini-van pulled in front of his caar, blocking him. The passenger of the mini-van got out and started shooting at Bing's car, striking Bing. The shooter then fled the scene in the blue mini-van which was found later abandoned in the 100 block of 11th Avenue West in Bradenton. The vehicle had been reported stolen. After getting shot, Bing went to a nearby house to seek assistance. His passenger also summoned help. The suspects were at leasts two black males, not very tall with their faces covered and wearing dark clothing. One of them may have had close cropped hair.
