Source text · highlightedOn Sunday, July 5, 2020 at approximately 12:40 a.m., the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Cananaro Drive, Annapolis, Maryland for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers encountered a large crowd of people from a fourth of July party taking place and two gunshot victims. The first victim was identified as nineteen year old Justin Keith Beasley (Junior) from North Carolina. First responders administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Mr. Beasley was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The second victim was identified as a nineteen year old male. That victim was transported to a local trauma center for treatment of his injuries. The second victim has since been released from the hospital. The Anne Arundel County Police is offering a REWARD of up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of Justin Beasley (Junior) and shooting of the second victim.
