Source text · highlightedIn December of 2008, homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department were notified of a fatal shooting that occurred on November 21, 2008 in the 6000 block of Barstow Road, 21206. The incident was initially investigated by the Baltimore Police Department after the shooting victims were located in Baltimore City. Following an interview with the surviving victim, whose identity is being withheld out of concern for personal safety, investigators determined the shooting occurred in the 6000 block of Barstow Road in Precinct 9—White Marsh. The second victim, identified as 31-year-old Andre Gay, later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
